Lakeview is a city in Sac County, Iowa, United States. The total area of the town is 5.5 km ².

Location

Lakeview is located on Highway 71, approximately 90 kilometers east of Sioux City. South of the town is the Black Hawk Lake.

History

1867 settled near the Black Hawk Lake, the first white men to. 1880 here is a railway station for the North Western Railway Company was built. The train station and the place initially received the designation braider. 1887, the town was renamed in Lakeview.
