Lalgaye Department

Lalgaye is both a municipality (French commune Rurale ) and a comprehensive department of the same territory in the West African state of Burkina Faso in the region Centre- Est and the province Koulpélogo. The municipality has 15.063 inhabitants in 17 villages. Until the colonization by the French Lalgaye was an independent kingdom.

Lalgaye is located on the National Road 17 east of Tenkodogo, neighbor to the east is Dourtenga.
