Tenkodogo

Tenkodogo is a city ( commune urbaine ) and a comprehensive department of the same area in the West African nation of Burkina Faso.

It is capital of the Region Centre -Est and the province Boulgou and has in the six sectors of the main town and the surrounding villages 83 124 053 inhabitants.

The city was the capital of the eponymous kingdom of Mossi, which had existed until the colonization by the French.
