Lamia (animal)

The Breitkopf tree rat ( Chiruromys lamia ) is a rodent of the genus Chiruromys, which is found in New Guinea. The species of rat is endemic in the rainforests of the Owen Stanley Mountains in southeast New Guinea. This animal lives in trees. She sees the big tree rat (C. forbesi ) is similar, but is much smaller. The little tree rat (C. vates ) reached approximately the same size, but has a reddish fur, and pointed ears.
