Lance Burton

William Lance Burton ( born March 10, 1960 in Louisville, Kentucky, United States) is an American magician.

At the age of 22 he won in Lausanne ( Switzerland ), the World Championship of Magic, which is held every three years by the Fédération Internationale des Sociétés Magiques ( FISM ). He was in his time the youngest and the first American winners of this competition.

Lance Burton appeared in The Tonight Show and on both before a U.S. President as well as in front of Queen Elizabeth II

He was fourteen years at the Monte Carlo - to see Resort and Casino in Las Vegas with his own show. To this end there, the " Lance Burton Theatre" was built for $ 27 million. In September 2010, his contract ran out and was, as announced in April, not extended. The Monte Carlo replaced him with a show of dance group Jabbawockeez. The group had won the first edition of the MTV competition America's Best Dance Crew.
