Land of Providence ( German Land of Providence ) is a 25 acres ( 10.1 ha) large nature reserve near Holyoke, Massachusetts in the United States, which is administered by the organization The Trustees of Reservations.
Sanctuary
The land on which the current reserve is located, was the Trustees in 2009 as a gift from the Sisters of Providence of Holyoke, which are connected to the city since its founding in 1873. It is located a few minutes drive from the city center, overlooking the Connecticut River and is accessible via Interstate 91.
In the field is ( German our roots ) actively farmed by the nonprofit organization Nuestras Raices. The focus is on the agricultural culture of Latinos and other immigrants. The reserve is accessible for free from April 1 to November 30 and offers visitors an immediate impression of actively operating at the site.
