Landry Mulemo
Mulemo Landry ( born September 17, 1986 in Kinshasa ) is a Belgian footballer with Congolese origin. He played at Bucaspor in the Süper Lig, the highest Turkish league.
Career
Mulemo began his career, when he came with his parents to Belgium, the age of four at Standard Liege. From 1992 to 1995 he played in the youth team of FC Flamelle before he returned to Liege.
In 2004 he was brought into the squad for the first team and on-lent to VV St. Truiden. In his first full season, the club finished 14th in the following season, he was awarded to Sint -Truiden, the club was 15th for the season 2007/ 08 he returned to standard and could play at European club level right off the bat: In UEFA Cup qualification was Mulemo against the representatives of UN Luxembourg Käerjeng in the 85th minute for Marcos Camozzato into play. The game was won 3-0 in Luxembourg. The team was champion and won the Supercup. 2008/ 09 these titles were defended.
After the relatively disappointing Championship 2009 /10 with eighth place and second place in Group B for the Europa League play-off and reaching the quarter-finals of the Europa League Mulemo changed in the summer of 2010 in Turkey to Bucaspor. There he was able to fight for a regular place. However, his contract was terminated in April.
In July 2011, he trained with the German Bundesliga team FC Augsburg, but received no contract. Eventually, he returned to Belgium and signed with KV Kortrijk.
He played in the Belgian national youth teams. He took part in the U -21 Football Championship in 2007 in the Netherlands. His only use was in the group match against the Netherlands, in which the left -back was substituted for Sébastien Pocognoli in the 87th minute. The game ended 2-2 in Heerenveen. Belgium was eliminated in the semifinal against Serbia. Furthermore Mulemo was in the squad for the Olympic Games 2008 in Beijing. In the games he came in five of six games to use. The third-place match against Brazil in Shanghai Belgium lost 0-3.
