Languages with official status in India

The official language is the language of offices, both among themselves and with citizens. In the official language of administrative acts and standards are written, documents archived, provides information to citizens, conducted negotiations and logged. In India, there are two cross-regional official languages ​​: Hindi and English. There are also numerous regional official languages ​​, but they are not the same as recognized in the Constitution of India National Languages ​​(see also languages ​​of India ).
