Laodice of Pontus

Laodice was the daughter of Mithridates II of Pontus and Laodice, the daughter of Antiochus II It was of Logbasis, a guest friend of Antiochus Hierax, lovingly raised in Selge in Pisidia. About the year 220 BC she married the viceroy of Asia Minor, Achaeus. As this against the Seleucid king Antiochus III. revolted, it was entrusted to the protection of the castle of Sardis; after the overthrow and death of her husband she returned to 213 BC because of disagreements among their troops. Her subsequent fate is unknown.
