History

As can be inferred from the many significant Großsteinbauten, the area of the Gulf of Morbihan must have played an important role in the era of megalithic culture, the fact of importance is that many older Großmenhire in the period around 4200 BC - probably intentionally - were overturned; the resulting fragments were (partly as orthostat ) recycled as cover plates in the dolmens. Before the entrance to the Table of Marchand and the Dolmen of Kercadoret was - as some of the few artifacts from the Bronze Age - a bronze ax or spear - and arrowheads found in bronze; was likely to find in this era ( and perhaps earlier ), a conversion of the Dolmen instead. In the Middle Ages belonged to the Larmor Baden; by separation only in 1857.
