Laski, Warsaw West County

Laski is a village in Poland, west of Warsaw, in the rural community Izabelin, in the Masovian Voivodeship. The village lies on the southeastern boundary of the wooded National Park Kampinoska and has about 1,600 inhabitants (1998).

Nationally known is the place for its hospital and schools for the blind and a maternity home. Near the Institute for the Blind is an architecturally interesting wooden chapel from 1925. Antoni Słonimski In the cemetery is buried. In addition, a war cemetery from World War II exists.
