Laura Biagiotti

Laura Biagiotti (* August 4, 1943 in Rome) is an Italian designer.

Youth

The daughter of the manager Giuseppe Biagiotti and the seamstress Delia Soldaini was born on August 4, 1943 in Rome. For their dream career archaeologist, she studied archeology and literature at the University of Rome. However, they abandoned his studies after only three years in order to help her mother in the fashion studio.

Career

In the 1970s, the brand "Laura Biagiotti " has become one of the most famous in Europe. Their feminine Cashmere Collections Biagiotti brought the title "Queen of Cashmere ".

Through the job in the studio of her mother's interest in the fashion world has been awakened and she was soon working as a designer. In 1972 she presented her first collection in Florence. In the following years she also designed collections for something fuller women and the world-famous cashmere collection.

In 1986, graced the famous advertising slogan " la tentazione Firmata " 500 showcase all over the globe. That same year, Laura began to design children's, teen, jeans and sportswear. Her dresses adorned from then on the bodies of all ages.

Biagiotti was with the medical Gianni Cigna († 1996), married. Since the death of her husband she is in the company of her daughter Lavinia (born 12 October 1978) supported.
