Lauretta Masiero

Lauretta Masiero ( born October 25, 1927 in Venice, † March 23, 2010 in Rome) was an Italian actress.

Life

Masiero was stage actress in the first place and received good reviews for her female lead roles alongside many great theater names like Ernesto Calindri, Volonghi Linen, Arnoldo Foà or Andreina Pagnani.

She started at the side of Erminio Macario in 1945. In its 60 years spanning theater career, she was mainly in classics (especially Carlo Goldoni ) to see and excelled at the Venice Biennale in 1954 with Pietro Garinei and Giancarlo Giovannini, with whom they already was a frequent occurrence, as celebrated trio of musical comedy. Until well into the 1990s, she appeared on such diverse authors such as George Bernard Shaw, Georges Feydeau and Neil Simon in pieces.

In the 1950s and 1960s, she also filmed several movies, mostly romantic comedies, and was seen in the television miniseries Le avventure di Laura Storm (1965 /66) in the title role of the adventurous journalist. Numerous television appearances stand on their work list.

From a relationship with Johnny Dorelli comes her son, the actor Gianluca Guidi.
