Lausanne-Marathon
The Lausanne Marathon is a marathon in Lausanne, which is carried out annually since the end of October 1992. In addition to the original distance of 42.195 km and the routes Half Marathon, Quarter Marathon and Mini - Marathon children about 4.219 kilometers are run.
Route
The route begins at the Place de Milan and runs along the Lake Geneva to the east of the city. About Pully and Paudex it comes to Lutry where is the turning point of the quarter marathon, while the other runs at Villette by and by Cully, Rivaz, Saint- Saphorin, Corseaux and Vevey and reach the turning point of their range in La Tour -de- Peilz. Since 2007 there is also the start of the half marathon in La Tour -de- Peilz, but not directly at the turning point. The goal of all routes is in front of the Olympic Museum in Lausanne.
