Lavinia Warren
Mercy Lavinia Warren Bump (* October 31, 1841 or 1842 in Middleborough, † November 25, 1919 ibid ) was an American actress.
Life
Lavinia Warren came from a respected family. She grew up with four brothers and three sisters. In their first year they developed normally, after which their growth delayed extreme and heard in her tenth year altogether. It reached a size of only 81 centimeters. Her youngest sister, Minnie the rest of the siblings, was also dwarfed, not. Lavinia Warren attended a normal school, worked for a time in her hometown as a teacher and was taught by her mother in the arts of the household.
PT Barnum made her 1862 bid, they ask for $ 1000 per week in his American Museum on display. But they refused initially to only to tour the royal courts of Europe. Barnum, however, was not discouraged, visited the parents of the young woman and eventually persuaded Lavinia Warren, her trip to Europe for a few weeks delay and to show themselves only in his museum.
In Boston, she met Charles Stratton know that soon made her a proposal of marriage. The wedding at New York's Grace Church on February 10, 1863 sparked extensive media coverage. The couple traveled through the country and continue to be presented to the audience. Lavinia Warren used while the stage name "Queen of Beauty". A crisis triggered the death of Minnie Warren, who died in 1878 in childbirth. Lavinia Warren and her husband at the time thought it to end their career, but managed to Barnum to persuade her to go on tour. On one of these trips Lavinia Warren and Charles Stratton 1883 witnessed the disastrous hotel fire with the Newhall House. They survived it unscathed, but a few months later, Stratton died of a stroke. Two years later, married Lavinia Warren Count Primo Magri the equally diminutive. After her death, but it was buried beside her first husband. The grave stone bears the simple words His Wife.

1915 Lavinia Warren had a role in the silent film The Lilliputians ' Courtship. Count Magri also acted in this film. 1999 both Lavinia Warren and her first husband were in the movie Freaks Uncensored! shown by Vivian Forlander and Ari M. Roussimoff.
