Lawrence Thomas Persico ( born November 21, 1950 in Monessen ) is Bishop of Erie.

Life

Lawrence Thomas Persico received on 8 June 1976, the diaconate and the Bishop of Greensburg, William Graham Connare, ordained him a priest on April 30, 1977.

Pope Benedict XVI. appointed him on 31 July 2012 for the Bishop of Erie. The archbishop of Philadelphia, Charles Chaput, OFM Cap Joseph, donated to him on 1 October of the same year, the episcopal ordination; Were co-consecrators Lawrence Eugene Brandt, Bishop of Greensburg, and Donald Walter Trautman, Bishop Emeritus of Erie.
