The Lawrence University is a small University in Appleton, Wisconsin. It was founded in 1847 as the Lawrence Institute of William Harkness Sampson and Henry R. Colman and was built in 1913 to Lawrence College, 1964 Lawrence University. Today she teaches approximately 1,500 male and female students. The university includes the Lawrence Conservatory, which enjoys an excellent reputation. Lawrence is considered " liberal arts colleges " as one of the best small American.
