Leaf International

Leaf is one of Europe's largest manufacturers, marketers and distributors of confectionery and food additives ( mainly for the confectionery and bakery industry ).

The six main operating companies of the internationally active group of the Dutch Holding Leaf International BV performed. Leaf has 15 production facilities in Europe.

Leaf Germany has its headquarters in Bocholt.

The company most recently served as CSM Sugar Confectionery a subsidiary of CSM. In the course of a management buy -out since February 2005, the former management, and venture capital firms CVC Capital Partners, Nordic Capital majority owner. Annual sales of the Leaf Group in 2004 amounted to 745 million euros, 638 million euros in 2006. The Group employed a total of 3,500 workers in 2006.

Products are confectionery raw materials, pastilles, chocolate and chewing gum. Leaf is in the Netherlands, Finland and Sweden, the market leader in chewing gum, lozenges and confectionery market. In Italy, France, Belgium, Germany, Denmark, Norway, the United Kingdom and Poland each leaf is one of the largest companies in these areas. On the chocolate sector Leaf has in Finland ( with its own brand " Tupla " ) and in the sweetener market in Italy ( with its own brand " Dietor " ) significant market share.
