Leandro Guaita
Leandro Guaita (born 19 May 1985 in La Plata, Argentina) is an Argentine footballer who also has Italian citizenship. He plays in midfield primarily as a right winger.
Career
Guaita grew up in La Plata and played in his youth for Estudiantes de La Plata.
In the summer of 2004 he moved to Switzerland for FC Basel, came there at all but not used.
A year later he moved to Italy to Vicenza Calcio in Serie B, but was not used again. Therefore, he joined in the summer of 2006 in Series D to Sapri Calcio, where he scored three goals in half a year in ten games. In January 2007 he moved to the Seconda Divisione Lega Pro to Nuorese Calcio. In January 2012, he played a trial at German third division Wehen. After three weeks and four test stakes he was taken to the middle of 2012 under contract. On January 24, 2012, he came in the away game against Werder Bremen II (1:1) to his debut in the third division, when he came on in the 69th minute for Jonne Hjelm. After just one game for the first team in the third division and a game for the second team in the league, the club gave Hesse on March 20, 2012 that the contract was terminated at the request of the player prematurely.
