Leandro Vissotto

Leandro Vissotto Neves ( born April 30, 1983 in São Paulo) is a Brazilian volleyball player.

Career

Vissotto Neves began his career in 1995 in the offspring of CR Flamengo. In his last year at Flamengo he moved up into the first team. In 2000 he moved to Cimed Florianópolis. The following year, the diagonal attacker won the World Youth Championship with the Brazilian offspring. In the same year he made his debut in the senior team. From 2002 to 2006 he played in alternate years for four other clubs in Brazil. With the national team won the World League Vissotto Neves 2003 and 2006. According to the second triumph, he joined the Italian first division Maggiora Latina. The following season he played for league rivals Prisma Taranto. 2008 Diagonal attacker from Trentino Volley has been committed. With Trentino he won in 2009 in the final of the Champions League against Iraklis Thessaloniki. The Brazilians were in the same year in the world league successful and were also South American champions. 2010 Trentino was Italian Cup Winners' Cup with Vissotto Neves and defended the title in the Champions League with a victory in the final against VK Dynamo Moscow. The national team repeated the victory in the World League. At the World Cup in Italy, the Brazilians prevailed in the final against Cuba. At the 2012 Olympic Games in London Vissotto Neves won the silver medal with Brazil.
