Lee Marshall (footballer)

Lee Keith Marshall ( born January 21, 1979 in Islington ) is a former English footballer. Marshall played 54 Premier League appearances for Leicester City and West Bromwich Albion, before he had to end his career due to injury early on.

Career

Marshall played in the reserve of the Isthmian League clubs FC Enfield, when he was discovered by Dave Stringer, coach of the reserve team of Norwich City at a meeting between the teams. After he won in a training with the reserve team of Norwich, the two clubs agreed in March 1997 on a transfer fee of £ 15,000. 1 November 1997, Marshall was the first time for the professional team of Norwich in the Football League First Division for use, however, broke four days later at his second ankle and fell out for months.
