2001–02 FA Premier League

The 2001/02 season was the 10th season of the Premier League, which was organized by the FA and due to the new sponsor Barclaycard from this season FA Barclaycard Premiership bore the name. At the same time, this was the 103rd Erstligasaison in English football. Master was Arsenal, which after winning the FA Cup five days in advance could win the third double the club's history and with Thierry Henry also placed the scorer.

For the first time in the history of the league were all 3 improving, Fulham FC, who keep Bolton Wanderers and Blackburn Rovers that class. In the First Division had to descend Ipswich Town, Derby County and Leicester City.

The season lasted from 18 August 2001 to 11 May 2002.
