1911–12 in English football

The Football League First Division in 1911/12 was the 24th season of the Football League First Division as the highest English football league. The Blackburn Rovers won by three points behind before the Everton first time in its one-story club the English Championship. Both newly promoted West Bromwich Albion and Bolton Wanderers were able to get the class. Instead, Preston North End and Bury FC had to play the course in the Second Division. These two teams should be in the following season replaced by the two second-division promoted Derby County and Chelsea.

A total of 510 players were used, where The Wednesday with 18 the least and Bradford City with 36 aufboten most players in league games. 128 newcomers were offset by 156 footballers who most recently came into play in the 1911/12 season.
