2005–06 FA Premier League

The Premier League 2005/ 06 was the 14th season of the Premier League, which was organized by the FA, while the 107th Erstligasaison in English football. It began on 13 August 2005 with the match Everton v Manchester United and ended on 17 May 2006.

Chelsea was able to defend his title from the previous season successfully and keep the competition the whole season at a distance. Sunderland had to after only one year excellence along with Birmingham City and West Bromwich Albion again say goodbye to the Premier League. The other two climbers were able to hold the class, West Ham United qualified even for the UEFA Cup, as their FA Cup final opponents Liverpool reached the Champions League qualifiers.
