2005–06 Divizia A

The Divizia A 2005/ 06 was the 68th season in the history of Romanian football league Divizia A. It began on 5 August 2005 and ended on 7 June 2006. From mid-December to early March rested the game operation ( winter break ). Master was again Steaua Bucharest.

Regulate

The Divizia A played with 16 teams. The two last- placed teams were relegated in the Divizia B, while four teams ascended since the league was expanded to 18 teams. For a victory, there were three points for a draw and one point for a loss no points. If two or more teams finish the season were tied, decided not goal difference, but a direct comparison.

Results

1 Sportul Studenţesc Bucharest permit withdrawn at the end of the season due to tax debts amounting to the equivalent of about 300,000 euros. This left Pandurii Târgu Jiu in Divizia A.

The FC Arges Pitesti 2 wore its home games in Mioveni.
