The Divizia A 1970/71 was the 33rd time in the history of Romanian football league Divizia A. It began on 30 August 1970 and ended on 27 June 1971. Between mid- December to mid-March rested the game operation ( winter break ). Champion Dinamo Bucharest.
Regulate
The Divizia A played with 16 teams. The two last- placed teams were relegated in the Divizia B. For a victory, there were two points for a draw and one point for a loss no points.

1 Dinamo Bacau changed his name to SC Bacau.
