1920–21 in English football

The Football League First Division 1920/21 was the 29th season of the Football League First Division as the highest English football league. The Burnley FC won with five points behind Manchester City in front for the first time in their history the English Championship. Both newly promoted Huddersfield Town and Tottenham Hotspur could get the class; instead had to Derby County and Bradford Park Avenue the transition to the Second Division compete. These two teams should be in the following season replaced by the two newly promoted second division Cardiff City FC and Birmingham.

A total of 588 players were used, with Bradford Park Avenue, Burnley FC and Everton FC, the least and Oldham Athletic and Sunderland AFC with 32 aufboten with 23, most players in league games. 203 newcomers were offset by 174 footballers who most recently came into play in the 1920/21 season.

In the following list, all players were listed who came for Burnley in a league game for use during the 1920/21 season. It must be noted that in most cases a minimum number of games will be provided in English football to accept the official champion medal allowed. As regards the specific control before the introduction of the Premier League, there is lack of clarity, all the players with an asterisk (*) have been provided which have received no champion medal presumably because of their small contribution. In brackets the number of bets as well as the goals achieved are called.
