Legendary - In each lies a Hero ( Original title: Legendary) is an American film drama from 2010, starring Devon Graye and WWE wrestler John Cena. . The film is a production of WWE Studios, and was filmed and directed by Mel Damski. The film was released on September 1, 2010 in American cinemas in Germany on October 1, 2010. A week later the movie on DVD and Blu -ray was released.

Action

The 15 -year-old protagonist Calvin Chetley, called Cal, is a lanky outsider who is teased by the teenagers of his small hometown in Oklahoma. His father dies in a tragic car accident. Mike, a former wrestler and older brother Cal, the fault is in the accident, leaving the family in the sequence. Cal enters the ringer team at his high school. He hopes to be trained there by his brother so that he can build a relationship with him again, to unite so the family again. When he asks his brother Mike if he would like to train him, rejects this. As Cal Mike helps with a false testimony in court, Mike decides to train his brother. Cal wins many battles, to which his mother Sharon is proud of. When Mike goes to jail because of a brawl, is Cal's mother out by a phone call that Cal and Mike meet in secret for some time. After the following battle between Cal and his mother goes to prison in order to get Mike. Cal's final fight is finally the occasion to reunite the family.
