Madeleine Martin

Madeleine Martin ( born April 15, 1993 New York City ) is an American actress, singer and voice actress.

Life

Madeleine Martin began her acting career at the age of seven years with a role opposite Richard Chamberlain in a revival of the musical The Sound of Music on Broadway in New York. In 2003, she played the lead role in a new version of the play A Day In The Death Of Joe Egg by Peter Nichols and presented in the same year as the youngest presenter of all time the Tony Awards. Her first television role was often to be seen in the same year in an episode of Law & Order and has since been a guest star in American series. As a girl she took over from 2003 to 2006 the role of the main character in the animated series JoJo's Circus. 2005 Martin played in Martin McDonagh's play The Pillowman. Her film debut was in 2006 when she took over some voices in the English version of the animated film Ice Age 2. In the years 2007 and 2008, Martin played with two different casts in Tracy Letts ' play August: Osage County with and was awarded the National Youth Theatre Award for Best Supporting Actress. Since 2007 she is in Los Angeles for the TV series Californication front of the camera. Madeleine Martin attended the School of American Ballet in New York and had several appearances with the New York City Ballet. However, they had to cancel due to the frequent shooting outside of New York her dance training. In the second season of the Netflix Series Hemlock Grove replaces Nicole Boivin as Shelley Godfrey, who held this role in the first season.
