Geography

Leißling is located southwest of white rock on the right bank of the Saale.

History

The village was first mentioned in 1232. On 1 September 2010, the site was incorporated into the city of White Rock.

Sports

The resident football club SG Fortuna Leißling 1930 was first mentioned in the White Felser Tageblatt. The game is played on the sports field Klosterwiese. In Leißling there was in the past even more sports clubs: a cycling, a cone and a gymnastics club, acrobats groups were active in the town.
