Lenora Crichlow

Lenora Isabella Crichlow (born 4 January 1985 in Westminster, London) is a British actress. She was known primarily for her role as Annie Sawyer in the British television series Being Human.

Life

Lenora Crichlow was born in 1985 as the daughter of Frank Gilbert Crichlow, a originating from the island of Trinidad activists, and Lucy Addington. She has two sisters and a brother. Her younger sister Amanda is also an actress. This could be seen for instance in Prime Suspect and The Bill.

Career

Between 2005 and 2006 Crichlow was seen in the series Sugar Rush, which is based on the novel by Julie Burchill. Furthermore, she appeared in an episode of Doctor Who.

In November 2008 it was announced that Crichlow would play the ghost Annie Sawyer in the BBC Three series Being Human. She replaced by Andrea Riseborough who had played the role in the pilot episode in February 2008. She played this role until the end of the fourth season in March 2012.

In the BBC One series Material Girl, she played the role of Ali Radcliff 2010. A guest appearance had Crichlow 2011 in the British series Death in Paradise. In 2012 she was also in an episode of George Gently - to see The Incorruptible.
