Leo Laakso

Leo Unto Edvard Laakso ( born August 21, 1918 in Heinola, † 4 April 2002 in Helsinki) was a Finnish ski jumper.

Laakso participated in the unofficial and 1946 by the FIS Nordic World Ski Championships declared invalid in 1941 in Cortina d' Ampezzo. There he won the silver medal behind Paavo Vierto.

1941 to 1956 he won with the exception of 1942, where competition did not take place, the Lahti Ski Games. At the Olympic Winter Games in 1948 and the resulting simultaneous Nordic World Ski Championships in St. Moritz, he was on the normal hill sixth.
