Leo Lainer

Leopold Lainer ( born September 10, 1960 in Maishofen, Land Salzburg ) is a retired Austrian football player.

The former classic libero and captain of the successful team of Austria Salzburg played, among others, still at Rapid Wien and FC Tirol Innsbruck. Lainer played 28 times in the Austrian national football team, scoring one goal. Home club of frequent Austrian master, Cup Winners competition finalists of 1985 and UEFA Cup finalists of 1994, the SK Maishofen.
