Leon Goretzka
Leon Goretzka (born 6 February 1995 in Bochum ) is a German footballer who is 04 has a contract with German Bundesliga side FC Schalke.
Club career
VfL Bochum
Goretzka began at the Bambini of Werner SV 06 Bochum. In 2001 he joined at the age of six years for the Bundesliga side VfL Bochum in the F- youth team. From July 2012, as a professional Goretzka belonged to the first team, for whom he made his debut in the 2nd Bundesliga 4 August 2012 during match against Dynamo Dresden ( 2-1 ). In this game he scored the 1-1 and thus also his first Profitor in the 2nd Bundesliga. In 32 appearances for Bochum he was able to achieve four goals.

During the summer break in 2013 Goretzka moved to FC Schalke 04 At Schalke he received a contract until 2018 and will wear the number 8, his first competitive match for Schalke denied Goretzka on August 5, 2013 the first round of the DFB Cup against FC Nöttingen. His U- 16 national team debut in Goretzka on 15 November 2010 in a friendly against Northern Ireland in Göttingen. In the 3-2 victory, he scored the intermediate 2:1 in the 44th minute. 24 August 2011 against Turkey ( 4-0), he made his debut in the U-17 national team, which he captained at the U- 17 European Championship in Slovenia in the final against the Netherlands in May 2012. Goretzkas the lead to 1:0 was offset in injury time, the subsequent penalty shootout won by the Netherlands. On August 8, he was the German U -21 appointed by Horst Hrubesch in the squad for the match against France's U -21. Against France it was used and made a good game.
