Leonardo Pais
Leonardo Pais, full name Leonardo Pais Javier Corbo, (born 7 July 1994 Minas ) is a Uruguayan football player.
Association
The 1.82 meter tall midfielder Pais plays for Defensor Sporting. In the Apertura and Clausura season 2012/13 he was ten times used in the Primera División. In the current season 2013/14 he ran until his preliminary final match on November 30, 2013 four more times in the Primera División. A goal he scored not there before.
National
Pais debuted on 28 October 2008 under coach Fabián Coito the Torneo Val de Marne in the game against Frabkreich in the Uruguayan U-15 national team. With the selection, in which he (two goals) completed a total of 19 international matches, he took part in the discharged in Bolivia U-15 South American Championship 2009. He was also a member of the U-17 in his home country. There he played from his debut June 23, 2010 in a 2-1 victory against the Chilean team during the Torneo Diario La Voz del Interior total of 35 matches (two goals). He was a member of the banns of Uruguay in the U-17 South American Championship 2011 in Ecuador and the U -17 World Cup 2011 in Mexico. At the World Championships he ran in seven tournament games and scored one goal. On October 5, 2011 Juan Verzeri put him against Argentina for the first time in the Pan - selection (U -22) of Uruguay. This he then took part in the Pan American Games in 2011 and won the bronze medal with the team. Overall, he played three matches ( no goals ) in the Pan-American selection. In the U-20 national team, he was then also under coach Juan Verzeri the first time on June 6, 2012 in the recovered 4-2 match against the United States for the first time used. Pais belonged to the squad of the Uruguayan U -20 team in the U-20 South American Championship 2013 in Argentina and played seven games during the tournament. In July 2013 he was then at the U- 20 World Cup 2013 in Turkey vice-champion with Uruguay. Pais was used in seven games at the World Cup, six of them in the starting XI. So far (as of July 5, 2013 ), he completed 30 international matches (one goal ) in this age group.
