Leopold David de Rothschild
Leopold David de Rothschild CBE, RD ( born May 12, 1927 in London, † 19 April 2012) was a British banker.
Life
Leopold David de Rothschild was born in May 1927 as the youngest of four children and the second son of Lionel Nathan de Rothschild and his wife Marie Louise Eugénie Beer. During the Second World War he was for three years, along other kids of widely branched Rothschild family, was sent to North America. In 1943 he returned to England. He attended Harrow School in Harrow on the Hill, in the London Borough London Borough of Harrow, made two years his National Service in the Royal Navy on HMS Kenya, a light cruiser of the Crown Colony - class, and then studied at Trinity College the University of Cambridge.
