Lev Aleksandrovich Chugaev

Lev Alexandrovich Chugaev (Russian Лев Александрович Чугаев; * 4 Oktoberjul / October 16 1873greg in Moscow, .. † September 23, 1922 in Gryazovets ) was a Russian professor of chemistry. His fields were complex compounds of nickel ( Tschugaew reagent) and platinum Triboluminescence, terpenes, xanthates and optical activity. In organic chemistry, the Chugaev reaction is named after him.
