Li Lili

Li Lili (Chinese黎莉莉, Pinyin Lí Lili ) ( born June 2, 1915 in Beijing, † August 7, 2005 ibid ) was a Chinese actress.

It was (Chinese钱 蓁 蓁, pinyin Qian zhenzhen ) Zhenzhen born under the name Qian in a poor family. In 1927 she went to Shanghai, the center of Chinese film industry in the 1920s and 1930s. In 1931 she became an actress and appeared among others in six films directed by Sun Yu, some of them on the side of the actress Ruan Lingyu. Her appearance was sporty and modern. Their important films, Tian Lun (1935 ) is directed by Fei Mu and Luo Mingyou. After the occupation of Shanghai by the Japanese army she commuted between Chongqing and Hong Kong to play in movies. In 1946, she briefly went to the United States, but returned the following year already returned to China and was named after the liberation of China the Beijing Film Studios actress. In 1955 she enrolled at the newly established Beijing Film Academy and taught there after graduating.
