Liam Ó Buachalla

Liam Ó Buachalla (* 1899, † October 15, 1970 ) was an Irish politician ( Fianna Fáil ) and a member of the Seanad Éireann, the upper house of the Irish Parliament 1939-1969.

Ó Buachalla was nominated on October 7, 1939 by Taoiseach Éamon de Valera as Senator in Seanad Éireann 3 and thus occupied the vacant seat of the late Senator Maurice George Moore in September again. After he was also nominated in the 4th and 5th Seanad Éireann, he was elected in the Cultural and Educational Panel during his further political career as a senator in the 6th to the 11th Seanad Éireann.
