Liber

Liber (often also Liber Pater ) is the Roman god of vegetative and animal fertilization, he was also worshiped as the god of liberating from worries and troubles wine. Bacchus, now known as the Roman god of wine, was originally probably only an epithet of Liber pater. He is equated with the Greek Dionysus.

Liber is the son of Ceres and brother of Liberation, together with these it forms a trinity ( Triassic). In honor Libers the Romans celebrated on 17 March, the Liberalia, on this occasion the young men the toga virilis ( Männertoga ) was first created as a sign of age.
