Liberalia

The Liberalia ( also German Liberation Lien ) was an annual festival in ancient Rome, which was celebrated on March 17 in honor of the fertility gods Liber and Libera. Young men was created for the occasion as a sign of legal age Männertoga ( toga virilis ) for the first time. Sacrifices honey cakes were sold and burned ( liba ).
