Lilienfeld Prize
The Julius Edgar Lilienfeld Prize is named after the Austro-Hungarian physicist Julius Edgar Lilienfeld and has been awarded since 1989 by the American Physical Society for outstanding achievements in physics. The prize money of U.S. $ 10,000 is from a foundation of Lilienfeld's wife, Beatrice Lilienfeld financed.
