Lilyan Chauvin

Lilyan Chauvin ( born August 6, 1925 in Paris, † June 26, 2008 in Los Angeles, United States) was a French actress and director.

At the age of 21, she moved to New York City, where she learned acting under Uta Hagen and at the Actors Studio. She played leading and supporting roles in numerous Hollywood productions and was twice nominated for an Emmy. As a director, she was involved in numerous television series and theater productions. Chauvin was Vice President of the organization Women in Film, which campaigns for greater participation of women in the movie business. In addition, producer and host it the series Hollywood Structured, the illuminated through interviews and posts the careers of Hollywood stars.

Chauvin died on 26 June 2008 of a heart condition and a long-term cancer in Los Angeles.
