The Limeckebach, also called Liemeckebach, is a 7.8 km long, left or western tributary of the mill water in the district of Kassel, Hesse ( Germany ).
Course
The Limeckebach flows entirely in the northern Hessian Habichtswald Nature Park. It rises approximately 1.25 km (air line) east-northeast of Istha, the south-eastern district of Wolf Hagen. Its source is located about 2 km (air line) east-southeast of Isthabergs ( 523.1 m above sea level. NN ). It is located about 200 m northwest of the B 251 to about 349 m above sea level. NN.
The Limeckebach initially flows west southwestward through agriculturally used land and then through Istha. Beyond the village, he runs after the branch of the B 450 from the B 251, which passes under the creek, again by arable and meadow land to then be approximately parallel to the B 450, which it crosses twice in total, in a northwesterly direction to Wolfhager core city turn.
