Linda McMahon

Linda Marie McMahon ( born October 4, 1948 in New Bern, North Carolina) is an American politician and manager.

Together with her husband Vince McMahon led them from 1980 to 2009, the company World Wrestling Entertainment and built this into an internationally successful listed companies. In September 2009, she resigned from her post, retired as Chief Executive Officer, to pursue her political career. The 50 million USD. funded from their personal assets election campaign for a seat in the United States Senate for the state of Connecticut in the 2010 elections lost McMahon, a member of the Republican Party, just to Democrat Richard Blumenthal. After the election, Linda McMahon announced to compete again in the Senate election in 2012.
