Linda Medalen

Linda Medalen ( born June 17, 1965 in Sandnes ) is a former Norwegian football player.

Life

Madelen was one of the most famous footballers of Norway and finished her international career with 152 caps and scored 64 goals. She was a member of the Norwegian team, the FIFA Women's World Cup won in 1995.

She played most of her career in Norway at Asker Fotball and retired in 2006, at the age of 41 years, from active football back. She also spent seven seasons in Japan with Nikko. She began her career as a striker, and later at the height of the career in the defender and towards the end of her career as a central defender.

Full-time Medalen worked as a policewoman. In 2007 she was chosen as the local politician for the Conservative Party of Norway in the council of Asker. Medalen is open lesbian. Your height is 1.67 m.
