Lippert peak is a sharp rocky peaks in the Heritage Range, the southern half of Ellsworthgebirges in West Antarctica. The summit is at the end of a rocky ridge, which extends from the Douglas peaks to the west into the ice-filled valley Horseshoe Valley. Lippert peak reaches a height of 1330 m above sea level and extends therefore beyond about 100-150 meters above the ice that covered the surrounding Horseshoe Valley.

Lippert peak was mapped by the United States Geological Survey for the years 1961-66 through spot audits and aerial photos of the U.S. Navy. The collection was named by the American Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names to George E. Lippert a biologist of the U.S. Antarctic Research Program in 1965 worked on the Palmer Station.
