Lisa Zimmermann

Lisa Zimmermann (born 2 March 1996 in Nuremberg, Germany) is a German freestyle skier. She is the reigning Junior World Champion in slopestyle. It belongs to the national team of the German Ski Association freestyle.

Life

Born in Nuremberg Zimmermann verbrachtete most of her childhood in nearby Fuerth. In the Upper Bavarian town of Bad Aibling, she attended the junior high school, she is currently a student at the vocational high performance boarding CJD Christophorus schools Berchtesgaden.

Lisa Zimmermann, 1860 starts for the WSV Oberaudorf and TV Fürth, began with six years as a figure skater. In 2010 she moved with 14 years of freestyle skiing.

For the 2012/13 season was a carpenter in the A-National squad. On February 8, 2013 Silvaplana she started for the first time in the freestyle skiing World Cup. With a ranking of 18, she won was immediately awarded first World Cup points. In the freestyle skiing World Cup 2013 in Voss Zimmermann reached the 17th place in slopestyle. A little later she was in Chiesa in Valmalenco Junior World Champion. In August 2013, it stood as a third party in Cardrona first time at a World Cup podium. In Gstaad ( Switzerland ) she won on 19 January 2014 a German first Slopestyle World Cup.

Lisa Zimmermann was qualified for the 2014 Olympic Winter Games in Sochi. There she was able to achieve a medal despite their Mitfavoritenrolle. In the first qualification round she fell, and the second passage failed error. The judges assessed their performance with 67.20 points, which corresponded to the 14th Place. Participation in the final of the twelve best way is denied to it.

She has been the first woman to a " Double 12 " ( Doublecork 1260 ) with double overhead rotation and three and a half screws.
