List of Ministers of Transport and Public Works (Uruguay)

The Ministry of Transport and Public Works (Spanish Ministerio de Transporte y Obras Públicas ) ( MTOP ) is one of the ministries of the State of Uruguay.

His responsibilities include the planning and development of public infrastructure. The Ministry has been operational since July 11, 1974 under this name, as the resulting under the presidency of Óscar Gestidos Ministerio de Transporte, Turismo y Comunicaciones abolished following a restructuring of the powers conferred by Law No. 14,218 and the remit of the Ministerio de Obras was merged públicas (MOP). The Ministry is headed by Enrique Pintado since March 1, 2010. Secretary of State is Pablo Genta.
