List of tequilas
Currently, there are in Mexico for Tequila about 130 plants, which together produce more than 900 registered (as of 2008). Compliance with the statutory provisions for the production of Tequilas Mexican supervisory authority monitors the Regulating Body del Tequila, short CRT. The nationally recognized Tequila producer are each guided under a NOM and a DOT designation marked on the bottle labels. This guarantees the authenticity of tequilas.
